Quick HyperBK Faq ================== -Why do i have Bookmarks and HyperBK Bookmarks in the Firefox Menu? HyperBK uses a different bookmarks database than the firefox bookmark database. This is why you have two menus. You can hide the Bookmark menu from the HyperBK Preferences. -I do not have any bookmarks in the HyperBK Bookmarks Menu, why is this? There are two possible causes for this issue 1- You did not import any bookmarks into HyperBK (see below) 2- The HyperBK Bookmarks database is corrupt (see below) -I think my HyperBK Bookmarks database is corrupt what do i do? If this is the case please go to Tools...HyperBK...HyperBK Other...Repair Bookmarks. This hopefully should fix the problem. If it does not then send a copy of your bookmark file (named hyperBookmarks.rdf) to hyper@iannet.org and I will fix it for you. -How do I use the HyperBK Bookmarks Toolbar? To use the HyperBK Bookmarks Toolbar please create a folder/Category named "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" and add bookmarks to it. THese bookmars will automatically be shown in the HyperBK Bookmarks Toolbar. -How do I Import Bookmarks? To Import bookmarks goto Tools...HyperBK...HyperBK Other....Import Bookmarks. Follow the instructions to import the bookmarks. You can import bookmarks from an htm or html file. (Netscape Format) -How do I Export Bookmarks? To Export Bookmarks open the bookmark manager and click on the last icon (which is a drop down menu). Select Export Bookmarks. -Does HyperBK keep backups of the bookmark Database? Yes it does you can find the backups under hyperBackup in your Firefox profile directory -How do you open a bookmark in a new tab? Simply by clicking on it using the middle mouse button -Where is the Open all tabs feature? Right click on a bookmark category/folder and select "Open Child bookmarks in tabs" -Is it possible to add Search Engines? Yes from the HyperBK Preferences Something else not listed in this faq?
